I struggle quite a bit with sitting down and just reading the bible and I struggle even more with over religious books telling me that I must do exactly that! But Nicky's Bible in One Year has helped me just so much to understand in simple terms that the bible is actually the most amazing love letter from God to me.

The daily reading and commentary makes the bible manageable for the busy person – it is full of moving stories, funny anecdotes, empowering messages and down to earth advice. And I make sure I have them downloaded on my iPhone (and then waterproofed!) whenever I travel to a jungle, desert or mountain range in the name of survival. In truth, it has become for me part of my ultimate survival guide!

The Bible in One Year is a fantastic way to read the Bible every day. I try each morning to read the set passages alongside Nicky's commentaries which are accessible, relevant and inspiring. This has been invaluable to my faith and helps to spiritually shape and challenge me daily.
