Faith & Work is the ministry within HTB which is designed to help integrate people’s Christian faith to their daily working lives.
The workplace is where the majority of adult Christians spend the majority of their waking hours, and yet it is where we feel least equipped as to how to live as a Christian.
Our vision is to equip Christians at HTB to live out their Christian calling at work, and so be released to be a part of the evangelisation of the nations and the transformation of society within their workplaces.
To achieve this goal, we put on various courses and events:
God at Work course
A six-session course looking at how the Christian faith can be lived out with purpose and integrity in the workplace. The course provides a Christian perspective on how to face challenges at work. The sessions covered include Ambition, Decision Making, Stress and Work-Life Balance. Click here for more information.
Pastorate Express
Many workers are unable to join in with regular HTB pastorates because of work commitments. Pastorate Express aims to address this issue. It includes all the regular elements of a pastorate, except it is squished (into one hour before work – Thursdays, 7.15 - 8.15am), seasoned (with a supply of continental breakfast and caffeine every week) and spiced (with a focus on making the connections between God’s Word and our work).

Faith & Work Prayer Breakfasts
At HTB we believe that God is interested in our work. The vision for the prayer breakfasts is to provide an opportunity to encourage, pray for and support each other, and to address some of the front-line issues in our specific sector of work.
Every other week, at our Tuesday morning prayer meeting (7-8am) at the Main Church, HTB Brompton Road we pray for those at HTB involved in a specific sector of work. The prayer meeting is followed by a networking breakfast (8-8.45am) for those involved in that particular sector. These sector groups also meet formally and informally at other times.
