Terms & Conditions

SUBMISSION OF A FORM CONSTITUTES AN AGREEMENT OF THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Focus is a self-catering six day teaching week away for members of Holy Trinity Brompton & St Paul Onslow Square, invited friends, and church plants.

1. Pre-registration is essential.

Guests arriving at Focus without a confirmed booking will not be admitted. Submission of the booking form does not constitute a confirmed registration. Guests will be contacted as soon as possible to advise them of the status of their booking. Guests will be advised at this time if they have been placed on a waiting list.

All bookings must go through the Focus office. Places in unit bookings may be transferable but only at the approval of the Focus office.

Any guests discovered onsite without a booking will be asked to leave. Please note that only the guests listed on the confirmation of booking may occupy the accommodation. If any other person/persons are found in occupation, they will be asked to leave the Park immediately and no refunds will be given.

We need to know your name and address, and the names and ages of all members of your party. This is a legal requirement for Haven. We also need to know whether any of your party has restricted mobility or access requirements.

2. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that the children and youth remain the responsibility of their parents and guardians at all times except when they are with their age-group leaders. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions you are accepting this responsibility.

3. Applications will not be accepted without the necessary deposit. This deposit is £200 for a unit booking or £50 for an individual or basic pitch booking. Applications received after 30th April 2010 will not be accepted without the full payment.

4. Full payment is due by 30th April 2010. Failure to pay by this date may result in the loss of the booking. Please note that balance reminders will not be sent.

5. Cancellations must be made in writing.

Refunds for units will only be given for the full unit cancellations (a unit is a two or three-bedroom caravan or grass electric, extra-large electric and hard-standing camping pitches). Units which pay their deposit and/or full amount and then cancel the full unit will be given a full refund until 30 April 2010. Should an individual within the unit group cancel, the group can either fill the vacant spot or they must increase the per head cost within their unit to cover the cost.

Reallocation of cancelled units is through the Focus Office only. Cancellations within a unit can be filled by the group in the unit. Alternatively, the Focus office can be requested to fill the space but can make no guarantee that the space will be able to be filled.

For individuals who have booked a room in a caravan to be allocated by the Focus office and those who have booked basic grass pitches that pay their deposit and/or full amount and then cancel will be given a full refund until 30th April 2010.

The following sliding scale of cancellation charges will apply:

Until 30th April 2010                      None (full refund given)
Until 1st June 2010                       Deposit forfeited
Until 1st July 2010                        50% booking fee
From 16th July 2010                     100% booking fee

6. Minor alterations

Every care is taken to ensure that all brochure information is accurate at the time of going to press. Guests will be informed of any changes to the programme upon arrival at the event.

Alterations such as the withdrawal of certain amenities, facilities, activities and entertainment may be made by Haven Holidays or HTB for reasons beyond our control without any obligation or liability.

7. Limitation of Liability

HTB shall not be liable in any way for any failure to perform our obligations or for any loss, damage or delay incurred by the guest resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Infectious or contagious illnesses

Guests must inform the Duty Manager of the occurrence of any such illnesses during their stay that may affect other guests. For the protection of guests and employees, anyone found to have such a condition may be confined or requested to leave.

9. Care of facilities

Please treat your holiday property and park facilities with care so that others may continue to enjoy them. We ask that you report any accidental damage to Reception immediately so that they can make a repair or replacement. Accommodation is inspected at the end of every stay and you may be charged for any loss or damage.

10. Filming and Photography

There will be official photographers and videocrew on-site. Guests may feature in these images and be used on our website and in HTB’s printed material.

11. Pets

No pets are allowed onsite, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind, dogs for the deaf and assistance dogs for people with disabilities. Please contact the Focus office should you need to bring an assistance dog onsite.

12. Wristbands

As one of our safety measures, we operate a wristband policy and these are issued to guests upon arrival at the event. It is your responsibility to ensure you look after and wear your wristband at all times whilst at Focus. Guests without wristbands will not be granted entry to any venues.

13. Smoking

All inside venues and accommodation at Focus are strictly non-smoking. Smokers over the age of 16 may smoke outside.

14. Drugs

We have a zero-tolerance policy on drugs. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances will be sent home immediately and may be prevented from coming to future events.

15. Unacceptable behaviour

We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where unreasonable or anti-social behaviour, caused by those persons named on their booking, or their guests, impairs the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests.

We reserve the right to escort any individual off the site.
