CHTB is the children’s ministry at HTB, and is designed for all children from birth up to school year 6 (approx age 11).
Anke Marais, Dizzy Watkins, Ollie Meakins and Emmy Taylor head up CHTB, the children's ministry at HTB Church.
Our vision is to work alongside parents to see children become fully devoted to God and excited about what He has planned for their lives. We hope to engage children in a church they want to be a part of.
Our aim is for CHTB to be a place where children:
- LOVE - know the love of God through Jesus and develop new and lasting friendships
- LAUGH - have fun with games, competitions, small groups, craft, sport, puppets, music and drama
- LIVE - work out what living God’s way looks like
- LEARN - learn more about God through biblical, creative and age appropriate talks and worship
CHTB has lots of fun groups for different ages and school years:
- GLOW WORMS: for mums and babies (approx ages 0-4 months) - NB this is an unsupervised space
- SUNBEAMS: for children aged 4-12 months
- SPARKLERS: for children aged 12-24 months
- FLAMES: for children aged 2-3
- LIGHTNING BOLTS: for children aged 3-4 (those of nursery school age)
- COMETS: for school years Reception & Year 1 (ages 5-6 approx)
- ALL STARS: for school years 2-6 (ages 7-11 approx)
