Men's Ministry

We long to see a church full of men who are passionate, courageous and determined to lead lives which honour God and advance His kingdom.

    Vision

Christ calls for men to lead courageously in many areas of our lives; at work, with families, friends, through mission and outreach. The aim of the men’s ministry is to equip, envision and commission men to be more Christ-like in every aspect of their lives.

    BURNING MAN

    VISION

The vision for this group is simple - to see men gathering under God's word. Each session sees a first rate Bible teacher open up a passage of scripture, looking to build up our knowledge and understanding of the word, as well as modelling how we can read the bible more fruitfully for ourselves and even then teach it to others.

The inspiration for this group comes from the disciples' experience on the road to Emmaus, where the risen Lord appeared to two of them and taught them why the Christ had to suffer. After realising it was him, they latterly reflected, 'Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the scriptures to us?'

We want to see a gathering where men come together to hear God's Word, and leave with hearts on fire for Christ!

    The Wild at Heart Course

These days we’re lead to believe that the ultimate aspiration of a Christian man is to be a ‘Nice Guy’. What happened to the challenges, risks and battles involved in becoming the men God created us to be?
Wild at Heart is an 8 week course for Christian men that encourages them to ‘come alive again’. Based on biblical concepts with help from John Eldredge’s book "Wild at Heart", the purpose of the course is to (re)discover The Great Adventure that we were made for; the adventure we were meant to live out with purpose and boldness as mighty men of God.
