350 attend Light Party alternative

Around 350 people attended the HTB Light Party – a positive alternative to Hallowe’en – at St Paul’s Onslow Square last month.

The church was decorated as a fair, with stalls divided according to different continent zones. In the Africa zone there were jungle drummers and hair braiding. The Europe zone featured pizza balloon darts and pin the tail on the bull.

In the Asia zone there was a crafts area and Dumbo the elephant was giving out sweets to the children. The Australia zone featured pitch and putt, pie in the face, and ‘slam dunk’. Around 350 hot dogs were eaten along with 5,000 sweets and a wide selection of fizzy drinks.
