HTB joined together with three other churches for a big youth event on the Thames when around 180 youth and their leaders took part in a boat party last month.

The theme was ‘formal with a hint of nu-rave’ and the youth dressed up as well as giving their faces a smattering of fluorescent paint. The other churches taking part were Soul Survivor Watford and St Andrews and ChristChurch Chorleywood.

HTB disc jockeys Liam Reilly and Pat Allerton provided the disco for the Friday night dancing. Youth leader Ali Marshall said, ‘It was awesome to see so many youth and their invited friends mixing from different churches.’
