More than 10,000 worshippers lifted the roof at the Earl's Court Centre last night to celebrate Pentecost in an initiative of three London churches - HTB, Hillsong and Jesus House.

Worship was led by groups from all three churches together. HTB's Tim Hughes, Nikki Fletcher and Luke Hellebronth and other members of the HTB worship team were on the stage.

There was a great cheer as the leaders of the three churches - Gary Clarke of Hillsong, Nicky Gumbel of HTB and Pastor Agu of Jesus House - took to the stage together.

HTB Vicar Nicky Gumbel told the crowd, 'We are here for one reason - and that is Jesus'. He led a time of prayer where he invited the Holy Spirit to come.

It was the third annual Pentecost celebration organised by the three churches.
