Concert and Afternoon Tea for Older People

    Thursday, 29 September 2011: 4.58pm

With the sun shining brightly outside, HTB Onslow Square welcomed a packed audience of older people and friends to a concert and afternoon tea today.

International violin soloist and chamber music player Michael Bochmann performed different pieces during the afternoon. He started the event by playing the violin at the doors of the church and continued to play as he walked through the audience to the stage.

Michael has made several recordings, most notably ‘The Lark Ascending’ by Vaughan Williams.  He frequently directs the English String Orchestra and is a Professor of violin and chamber music at Trinity College of Music.
