Employability scheme has 95% success rate

An employment initiative run by HTB’s social action charity the William Wilberforce Trust has a 95 per cent success rate in finding jobs for people after they complete the course.

The scheme is run from a Chiswick warehouse where the charity runs a furniture recycling business. It has helped over 20 previously unemployed people find jobs.

The employability initiative was started about a year ago to help people facing major barriers to employment, such as homelessness, addiction or criminal records, get back into the job market.

The furniture re-use program takes donations of run down/unwanted furniture then repairs and refurbishes them before selling them on.

The Warehouse gladly accepts any donations of furniture and offers a collection service. Click here for more information on how to donate.

The Warehouse has recently started a weekly video showing all the new furniture that has arrived during the week as well as keeping you updated on what’s going on at The Warehouse.
