HTB is piloting a major new prayer initiative in partnership with the global 24-7 Prayer movement.
The htb:24-7PRAYER room at Brompton Road will be filled with prayer and worship throughout this term from 9am - 5pm until 7th December.
Anyone can join in by booking an hour-long prayer slot in the room which has been beautifully refurbished with art space, graffiti walls, TV screens loaded with prayer pointers, and even a private 'hermitage' space.
'The heartbeat of HTB is prayer and worship,' says Pete Greig. 'By booking an hour in the room, you can encounter God and unlock more of his purposes for HTB and Alpha as well as for your friends and family.'
At midnight on New Years Eve, the Prayer Room will go 24-7, with prayer night and day around the clock through 2013, in term time.
A new prayer community called ‘The Furnace’ will be formed under the leadership of HTB Curate Bill Cahusac, for those sensing a call to go deeper in prayer, at the heart of this new initiative. To find out more email furnace@htb.org.uk
