Worship leader Matt Redman and his wife Beth were interviewed by Vicar Nicky Gumbel at HTB's services today.

The couple spoke movingly about their difficult upbringings and how their Christian faith had transformed their lives. Matt also led worship at the four services at HTB Brompton Road.

Matt Redman, who helped found the Soul Survivor festivals with Mike Pilavachi, is now one of the most successful Christian songwriters in the world. His songs include Blessed Be Your Name, Heart of Worship and Better is One Day.

Beth spoke of how she works for the A21 campaign to end human trafficking as well as bringing up the couple's five children.

Her work to tackle human trafficking led Matt to release the single 'Twenty Seven Million' early this year which rose to number one in the gospel music charts in the USA.
