More than 500 delegates were trained at 5 events in Madagascar, the largest GAT ever.
A team of 21 from Alpha home Church HTB went to Madagascar last month.
They held one large event in the capital, Antananarivo, for 300 guests before splitting into 4 teams and heading to different parts of the country to run smaller events.
There are 5 dioceses in Madagascar and all 5 Bishops attended at least one of the 3-day training events. All are now looking forward to supporting Alpha in their areas.
A few of the team members also went into one of the prisons on the Island and distributed French language materials.
The team also laid a wreath in memory of the British cargo ship 'Wayfarer' that was torpedoed near the island at the request of one of the sailor's sister.
There are many opportunities to go on a GAT and the list of destinaion countries is always being added to.
