More than 250 people came to HTB Onslow Square to watch the Royal Wedding last Friday.
HTB’s social transformation department combined the usual homeless drop-in centre with the festivities and also invited guests from the afternoon tea and concert events, which are held at HTB Onslow Square.
Around a third of those in attendance were homeless, a third were regular attendees of the concerts and the rest were members of the HTB congregation.
The big screen in the church was streaming the BBC’s coverage from the early morning while breakfast was served.
All in attendance took their seats for the ceremony and stood for the national anthem.
After the service a buffet lunch was served complete with Union Jack cakes.
