HF 2007: Children learn from the Superheroes of the Bible

More than 250 0-10 year olds took part in a wide range of activities at Home Focus this year, with nearly 80 people volunteering to ensure they had a wonderful time.

The theme for the week was 'Superheroes'. The younger ones found out about Joseph, looking at his different characteristics to see what they could learn from him.

The 7-10s looked at several different bible heroes: Moses and how he obeyed God, Joshua and how he was courageous, Gideon and how he trusted God, Samuel and how he listened to God, Jesus - the ultimate superhero, and Paul who lived life with purpose for Jesus.

Worship was led by Chris Bentley. There were memory verses, games, dramas, crafts, small group time, and time for the children to learn to listen to God for themselves.
