Home Focus: new plans for 2008
15 Oct 2007
More people than ever are set to attend HTB's Home Focus holiday week next year as efforts to create space for all who wish to attend continue.Plans to issue day passes and expand bed and breakfast
accommodation will make it possible for up to 1,800 members of the
congregation and friends to take part in all or part of the week - 100 more than last year.
A plan to split the week into two four-day segments called Home
Focus A and Home Focus B has had to be set aside because of the
increased costs and the difficulties involved in running the children's
and youth programmes with enough helpers for the two segments.

HTB Vicar Nicky Gumbel said, 'The option of two four-day 'weeks' was seriously considered but in the end the costs of an extra day were
prohibitive. It is a disappointment, but we are determined to do all we can to enable more people to enjoy Home Focus. Further options are being considered to do this.'
The dates for Home Focus are confirmed as being 26th July - 2nd
August, and registrations will begin in February. More information will
be posted on the website - www.htb.org.uk/homefocus - and appear in HTB News in the New Year. Please do put the dates in your diary - we would love to see you there!
