This course is for any parent with children up to the age of 10. The course, while based on Christian principles, is relevant and helpful for any parent with or without a Christian faith or church background.

Nicky and Sila Lee have worked with couples and families for over 20 years and speak regularly on parenting. They are co-authors of 'The Marriage Book' and they also lead The Marriage Course, The Marriage Preparation Course and The Parenting Teenagers Course.

Topics covered include:

• Building strong foundations
• Love in action
• Setting boundaries
• Building character
• Our long term aim

Each evening begins with supper followed by a talk, with opportunities for discussion in small groups. Please note that childcare is not provided.

Evaluation of The Parenting Children Course

Please consider participating in a simple study run by Eli Gardner, a Clinical Psychologist in our church, evaluating the effectiveness of the course in helping parents with their parenting. If you would be willing to help, all that is required is for you to complete the short, confidential questionnaires that will be sent to you when you register and when you finish the course.
