How do I join a pastorate?

There are a variety of ways to join a pastorate at HTB. The best way to join a pastorate is through relationship, whereby members invite friends or those that they meet on Sundays to their pastorate. But if you are new to the church, and do not know anyone, we can help you find the right pastorate for you through the following ways:

On the pastorates website

You can click on the link to the right entitled ‘Join a pastorate’ and fill out a short questionnaire. It will be reviewed by a member of the pastorates team in order to determine which pastorate might work best for you. Someone from the pastorates department will contact you directly with recommendations and next steps.

Contact the pastorates department directly

You can email the pastorates department at pastorates@htb.org.uk to find out more information regarding pastorate groups. Someone from the pastorates department will contact you directly to answer your questions or to point you to your next steps. You may also call the HTB offices at 084 56447533 and the receptionist will put you through to a member of the pastorates department team.

Get Connected Cards

Get Connected Cards are in the back of the chairs at HTB at every weekend service and at the reception desk at both HTB and St.Paul’s, Onslow Square churches. Simply fill out your name and contact details, mentioning your interest in pastorates, and the pastorates department will contact you and point you to your next steps. You can also do this online at getconnected@htb.org.uk .

After Alpha…

We would love to see you maintain community with those that you have been in Alpha with [you can join a pastorate together]. HTB pastorates are a great way to continue to explore what it is to be a follower of Christ. They provide a safe and inviting place to wrestle with and ask questions, to learn more about who God created you to be, and the part that you personally play in seeing His purposes come to light. You will learn more about how to join a pastorate toward the end of your Alpha experience.
