How do I join a pastorate?

There are lots of ways to join a pastorate at HTB. The best way is through relationship - get chatting to the people you meet in church on a Sunday and, if you're already in a pastorate, invite them along; or, if you're new, ask which pastorate they go to and go and check it out!

But if you do not know anyone yet, we can help you find the right pastorate through the following ways:

Join a pastorate and answer a few quick questions. The pastorate team will have a look at your answers and be in touch with you to suggest one or two pastorates which they think would be perfect for you.

Drop the pastorates team an e-mail at pastorates@htb.org.uk to find out more information about joining a pastorate. They'll be back in touch with you to get you connected in to a pastorate as soon as possible. If e-mailing isn't your thing, then simply call HTB reception on 0845 644 7533 and ask to find out about pastorates.

Fill in the get connected slip at the bottom of the monthly service card which is available at both HTB and St Paul's. The pastorates team will get in touch with you and find you a brilliant group. You can also do this online at getconnected@htb.org.uk .

After Alpha…

We would love to see you maintain community with those that you have been in Alpha with. It's brilliant to join a pastorate together as a group.

Being in a pastorate is a great way to continue to explore what it is to be a follower of Christ. They provide a safe and inviting place to ask questions, to learn more about who God created you to be, and the part that you personally play in seeing His purposes come to light. You will learn more about how to join a pastorate toward the end of your Alpha experience.
