Pastorate Resources and Term Series

We have some fantastic term series available for any pastorate to use. Based on a variety of topics including books and themes in the Bible, Christian literature and many more, these resources can be used either straight "off the shelf" or tailored by you so that they're perfect for your pastorate. Bible references, relevant quotes, buzzgroup questions, illustrations and ideas for ministry are all included for you to use as much, or as little, as you wish. The clear and easy structure and optional illustration and buzzgroup questions mean they're for use by either experienced or novice speakers.

We are constantly developing new resources and we would love to hear your ideas for topics that you think would make a fantastic series!

CHALLENGING LIFESTYLE

This popular six week series is based on Nicky Gumbel's book of the same name.

Covering current relevant topics including happiness, anger, sex and divorce, this series is excellent for any pastorate wanting to learn more about the Christian response to the world today.

A LIFE WORTH LIVING

Based on the book of Philippians, this series is particularly good for newer Christians.

Structured using Nicky Gumbel's book, also called "A Life Worth Living," this course looks at six topics over the course including "New Heart," "New Attitude" and "New Ambition."

Alongside the six pastorate sessions, the series also includes three sessions perfect for use in a home group.

GOOD FRUITS

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self Control. These, Galatians 5 tells us, are the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. This course encourages us to develop these in our lives through a talk, group discussion, prayer ministry and personal reflection.

This is a flexible course so that pastors can choose to cover as many, or as few of the fruits as they wish over the course of a term

SEVEN DEADLY SINS

Based on Graham Tomlin's book of the same name, this seven week series provides a fascinating platform for discussion and exploration into this theme.

What are the qualities that society would not consider problematic but we as Christians would consider to be sinful?

This series contains talk outlines, small group discussion questions, practical applications and ideas for ministry time.
