Prayer

'They all joined together constantly in prayer' Acts 1:14 - prayer is vital to everything we do as a church

24-7 prayer returns to HTB. For two weeks commencing at 8.30pm on Sunday 7th March, the Wesley room (opposite Church House at HTB) will be transformed into a room of continual prayer.

For two weeks during Lent the Wesley room (nee Hut One) will be transformed into a sanctuary for 24-7 prayer and worship. In the busy-ness of life this is going to be a precious opportunity for people to stop, recharge and prepare for Easter. The theme of the prayer room this time is ‘Thirsty’ and it will explore three key aspects of God’s love, namely:

1) Get real (Healing) – space to express your heart and get right with God

2) Get refreshed (Filling) – space to encounter God’s love for you and to receive fresh strength

3) Get ready (Sending) – space to explore God’s call for your life

If you would like to make the most of this opportunity before this goes out to the wider church, go online to book http://htb.24-7prayer.com – the week is already filling up fast so book now to avoid the rush!

The prayer room also features a live Twitter feed displayed on a screen so you can send in your prayer requests directly into the room.

To send your prayer requests simply:

1) Log into Twitter
2) Follow 'HTB247PRAYER'
3) Send your prayer requests as a direct messages to us.

These then get automatically re-tweeted on our wall which is displayed in the prayer room.
We have to follow you back before you can send a direct message. We will keep a check on this so you won't have to wait long.

We have done our best to filter the content and will keep a close eye on the posts but this is open everyone so if you spot anything inappropriate please email dan.millest@htb.org.uk or emma.brown@htb.org.uk
