Prayer Groups

The prayer group listed below are groups that are run by HTB church members. They are not run by the church itself so please do contact those listed below if you would like to find out more about them.

World’s End Estate Prayer Group

Meets once a term for a prayer walk around the estate (for approximately one hour). This involves some of the staff at The Trust and some of the HTB pastorates who are passionate about praying for the estate and the people on it.

Mind the Gap

Imagine if one of your legs was twenty percent shorter than the other?  One imagines that could present some drawbacks.  That said, the Christian Church worldwide has roughly twenty percent more women than men.  As in the case of having unequal legs, this might bring some unhelpful repercussions!  We believe God can correct whatever imbalance exists in his church and heal the negative consequences that arise from the gap. So instead of growing discouraged and defeated some of us girls at HTB get together to pray blessing on our church / blessing on the men / blessing for a healthy thriving representation of Christ’s body reflected in our church community.

Break Through

Faith is a journey... and we can struggle with the walk alone, or we can find strength and support in doing it together. BreakThrough is a group of guys who want to grow more in God, and recognise that it's easier to go the road if we do it together. Our vision is to be men of God, men of prayer, seeking after God's own heart, 'stepping up to the plate', and to be all that God seeks for us. None of us is perfect, that's why it's great to have support and encouragement from other guys on the same journey. Prov 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”

Chelsea Police Station

The Chelsea Police Station prayer meeting takes place at 17.45 on the third Monday in each month, at Chelsea Police Station.

Health Care, Science and Research Group

Meets about 3-4 times a year for networking and prayer. It is open to all health care professionals and scientists.

Revival in Southern Africa and Zimbabwe

This group meets monthly to pray specifically for South Africa and Zimbabwe.
