Basic Risk Assessments
No experience required, just someone who is observant, good at solving problems and happy talking with new people. All required training would be given, this role would be during office hours (9:30 - 17:30 Mon-Fri), although within that could be fit into your availability. This would involve interacting with staff and volunteers, using our set out procedures ensuring they are working in a safe environment, where need be tailored to their individual needs.

Fire Safety
We are reviewing our fire risk assessments and were hoping for professional help. If you have experience and expertise in this area, then help would be very gratefully received. The amount of help you give would be fully dependent on how much time you have to give, there is no time commitment required and could be done outside of office hours.

Food Hygiene
We are reviewing our Food Safety and Hygiene procedures and were hoping for professional help. If you have experience in developing HACCP procedures or in advanced food hygiene, then help would be very gratefully received. The amount of help you give would be fully dependent on how much time you have to give, there is no time commitment required and could be done outside of office hours.

Health and Safety Training
We have a need for some basic health and safety training for staff and volunteers, if you are qualified and experienced in giving this (eg. Manual Handling training) this would be very helpful. Times needed to do this would be flexible and sometimes during office hours other times not. No long term commitment would be required.

General Health and Safety in the Workplace - Including Risk Assessments
We have an ongoing process of re-evaluating our health and safety procedures and in updating our risk assessments. There are a number of areas needing attention. If you have experience and qualifications in this area, then help would be very gratefully received. The amount of help you give would be fully dependent on how much time you have to give, there is no time commitment required and could be done outside of office hours.
