    Course Full

The current Spring/Summer Course is now closed to new guests. The next Course is due to start on Thursday, 27th September and pre-Registration will open at the beginning of August. Thank you.

Are you struggling with an addiction to Drugs, Alcohol, Pornography, Sex, Gambling, Self-harming, Over-eating or some other compulsive behaviour that is spoiling your life? Then why not try The Recovery Course, a free 16-session Christian programme based on the Twelve Steps used by Alcoholics Anonymous.

Whilst we welcome people struggling with various food addictions we also know that these guests sometimes appreciate attending a specialist group. If that is you then may we draw your attention to New ID for Eating Disorders, a course run by Lucy Stephenson here at HTB Brompton Road.

Depression can also be a major problem in our lives in which case the Dealing With Depression Course may be of interest. The course is intended for people suffering from depression and looks at what depression is, possible causes, ways to deal with depression, and depression and faith, and healing prayer.

Occasionally people suffering with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) contact us to ask if the Twelve Steps can help them. They can, but at The Recovery Course we do not have the expertise and are unable to receive guests with this condition. However, there is an Obsessive Compulsive Anonymous Twelve Steps meeting held every Thursday evening at The Parlour, Hinde Street Methodist Church, 19 Thayer Street, London W1U 2QH. Further details can be obtained from the link above.

If you are currently participating in any therapy or counseling we would recommend that you contact your counselor or therapist before attending to see whether they are happy for you to participate in a 12-Step programme at this stage.

The Recovery Course is also running at the following locations around the country:
